Conversations with Jesus

Throughout the gospels we see Jesus engaging people in personal conversations. Sometimes it is Jesus who initiates the exchange; on other occasions it is the other person who comes to Jesus with a question or a comment. I believe it is safe to say that every time people had the incredible opportunity to go one on one with the Son of God that they left with a new way of thinking about themselves, about God and about what it meant to live in the Kingdom of God. This week at The Bridge we will see what Jesus has to say to a Pharisee by the name of Simon. This took place at a dinner party at Simon’s home and you can be sure that what transpired that night was far from anything Simon had ever envisioned.
